International Love: Fernanda & Alex

Fernanda, a Brazilian beauty, is a Canada resident, engaged to a Romanian in Canada and is on a one year project in Dubai! Don't you just love the diversity?

That's what I got to know when I first met Fernanda on a lovely sunny morning for breakfast, to discuss the engagement session she wanted to have.
How can I describe Fernanda...well, she's very funny, determined, hard working and in control, really knows what she wants, romantic, down to earth and loves life!

She went on to tell me how she met Alex in Canada, how different they are yet so in love, and I even got to know about their elaborate wedding plans in Brazil next year!
We decided to have the shoot once Alex is in Dubai for a holiday.

We agreed to meet and have the first part of our photoshoot in Downtown. Fernanda came in with Alex, dressed in this lovely pink blouse and interesting white skirt that complemented her beautifully tanned skin so well! Alex looked quite relaxed and welcoming. A very calm and quiet kind of guy, he seemed to be infected by Fernanda's excitement for the shoot!
So once Fernanda was done with her makeup, by the very talented Asmaa Lootah, off we went to start our session near the Dubai Mall fountain.

Their personality differences were quite apparent where Alex was the really shy and calm one while Fernanda was the firecracker, cracking jokes and fooling around with Alex trying to bring him to be more natural infront of the camera (yes he was a bit nervous about it in the beginning!)
But with all that, you would clearly tell how in love this beautiful couple is.

Our shoot extended over two days to be moved to the open beach mainly to have the iconic Burj Al Arab backdrop, which never disappoints!

I gotta say that this was one of the most fun shoots I have done! I was even lucky enough to be invited to a dinner of Brazilian steak which I, unfortunately, missed and we later decided that we will make up for it at an Egyptian restaurant to let Fernanda try some Egyptian goodies!

Stay inspired!
