Wedding: Maha & Amr

I met Maha on her wedding day! Yes, we never met before the big day, part of it is due to the fact that I don't reside permanently in Egypt and part that the wedding date and venue have been changed twice during the same month only to settle on June 19 2013 in the Nile Conrad, Cairo. Phew!
Needless to say, Maha was super busy with all the preparation and her fiance, Amr, was running around trying to get their passports and visa ready on time for their awaited honeymoon in Santorini, Greece *sigh*!

So here are the highlights of my day with Maha, Amr and their families and friends on the wedding day:

I was in fact recommended to Maha by Ragia, the very first bride whose wedding I shot 2 years ago. This alone already made me feel at ease :)

I was surprised to bump into another photography mate at the hotel, who turned out to be good friends with the bride's brother! Even more company...yaay for me :)

Maha has an amazing entourage of beautiful friends who were genuinely ecstatic about her wedding.

The bride's maids abode to Maha's instructions of wearing colorful dresses that represented the rainbow when standing together, coupled with colorful bouquets. Looked cooler than I thought it ever will!

The Schengen visa for their honeymoon was issued on their wedding day!! Just in time.

The wedding was very intimate with a small hall that was big enough for close family and friends. The dance floor had to take up more people than is usually expected - almost everyone was on the floor dancing and cheering for the lucky couple.

I have personally not witnessed so much warmth and love between two people like I saw between Maha and Amr. People are truly made for each other.
May they both be blessed with the life they dreamed of together.

Special thanks go to Hoda El Ridi and Shady El Taweel for assisting me in covering this wedding and being the great company that they are.

Stay inspired :)
